Inside MEKA Football
MEKA Football Academy was created by parents, players and coaches who have spent many years involved in the game. Throughout our journey, we have seen how much young players benefit from environments that are consistent, well-structured and genuinely supportive. We wanted to create a place where those elements come together with intention and care.
Football is powerful. It builds confidence, discipline, resilience and connection. MEKA is our way of giving back to the sport that shaped us, creating a space where children can learn, grow and enjoy their football in a clear, encouraging and thoughtfully designed environment.
Our vision is simple. We aim to offer families a football experience where every child feels valued, guided and excited to come back each week.

Build strong technical foundations and smart game decisions
Foster confidence, resilience and personal growth through sport
Create a positive environment where players feel safe and motivated
Support every child’s development with structured, age-appropriate coaching

We follow a player-centred coaching model that balances technical development with mindset and decision-making. Every session is built on MEKA’s four key pillars:
Technique
Agility & Movement
Game Understanding
Mindset
Training is age-appropriate and progress is measured through engagement, effort and improvement. Small group sizes allow us to deliver focused, consistent coaching in a supportive environment.

We built MEKA on three key principles that guide everything we do:
quality coaching, genuine community, and a commitment to player growth.
These values shape how we train, communicate and support every young athlete.
Quality Coaching Standards
Every session is planned with intention, focusing on strong technical foundations and attention to detail that supports long-term player growth.
Welcoming Community
We create a positive, inclusive environment where families feel connected and players feel supported, valued and proud to belong.
Growth On and Off the Pitch
Our coaching supports more than just skills—players develop confidence, resilience and a mindset for lifelong learning through football.
Every child trains with qualified, WWCC-cleared coaches in a calm, respectful setting. We value open communication with families, provide regular updates, and work in partnership to help each player succeed.
Our training is inclusive, focused and designed to help children enjoy football while building real progress.
Experienced and WWCC-cleared coaches lead every session
Clear, consistent communication with families
Inclusive, respectful space where players grow

MEKA is led by two mates who share a long connection to football and a genuine commitment to helping young players grow.

Keith supports the academy’s operations and brings a strong background in teaching, community work and player development. Together, they create an environment where children feel supported, confident and excited to learn.

We chose our colours because they reflect the people and environment we care about most.
White is for our kids. It represents purity and the beginning of each child’s journey. White is also a classic football colour, worn by great teams throughout history, and reflects the honesty and simplicity we value in how children learn and play.
Navy Blue represents professionalism, wisdom and reliability. It reflects how we prepare our sessions, communicate with families and provide consistency week to week, creating an environment parents can trust.
Gold represents something special. It symbolises treasure, progress and achievement earned through effort over time, while also paying homage to the iconic gold worn by the Socceroos. Together, our colours reflect a journey built on care, trust and steady growth.

We welcome players aged 6 to 14. Our programs are designed around age-appropriate development phases so children learn at the right pace for their stage.
Players need football boots, shin pads, a water bottle and comfortable sportswear. Once enrolled, MEKA training kits will be provided for training sessions.
You can enrol directly through our website. Submit your details on the Expression of interest page, and we will be in touch to confirm availability, session details and the next steps.
Training is held in the Macarthur and South West Sydney region. Exact fields are confirmed through council allocation and shared with families before each term begins.
