MEKA Football Academy
At MEKA Football Academy, our mission is to develop confident, intelligent footballers who think quickly, read the game effectively, and execute their decisions under pressure.
We support every player on their individual journey, helping them grow, compete, and progress toward higher levels of performance. Along the way, we place strong importance on teamwork, belonging, and developing a lifelong connection to the game.

As parents and long-time players and coaches, we’ve experienced how the right football environment can shape a child’s development. MEKA was created to deliver coaching that is technically focused, age-appropriate and built on clear structure.
We train with intention. Every session targets core football skills, decision-making and game understanding. At the same time, we communicate openly with families and create an environment where players feel supported, challenged and proud of their progress.
Our values:
Small group training focused on individual development
Coaching that builds both skill and confidence
A structured curriculum aligned to player age and stage
Our training is organised into age-based groups, with small numbers and consistent coaching. Sessions are structured around skill progression and long-term development.
Ages six to fourteen
Weekly term-based training for players aged 6–14, grouped to support appropriate learning and development.
Structured coaching pathway
Small groups organised by age and ability to ensure focused sessions and steady progress.
Holiday clinics available
Seasonal school holiday sessions designed to keep players active, engaged and progressing between terms.

MEKA Football Program Term 2, 2026
Term 2 enrolments are now open. 22 April – 3 July
MEKA sessions are purposeful, energetic and match-related. We focus on strong technical habits, game understanding, confidence and decision-making — building intelligent footballers who improve each week while enjoying the game.
To maintain training quality and small group ratios, places are limited.
Please note:
Enrolments close two weeks prior to the start of Term 2 to allow for planning, group structuring and player allocation.
The MEKA Framework supports each player’s progress across four coaching pillars:
Technique - Ball mastery, first touch, striking technique, 1v1 skills and core fundamentals.
Agility & Movement - Balance, speed, footwork and body coordination to build confident movers.
Game Understanding - Decision-making, spatial awareness and learning how to read the pitch.
Mindset & Mental Strength - Confidence-building, resilience, emotional control and a positive attitude towards learning.
Our sessions combine technical skill with tactical awareness and strong communication from coaches.

We coach with clarity, structure and attention to detail. Players are supported to make decisions, learn from mistakes and improve steadily over time.
Our coaches:
Provide clear and consistent instruction
Focus on individual development within the team
Promote positive behaviours on and off the field
Communicate regularly with parents and carers
All coaches are WWCC-cleared and First Aid certified and follow MEKA’s Coaching Framework, designed to guide players from foundational skills toward advanced technique and confident match play.
A Coach Who Truly Cares
My son has trained with Erick for three years and the improvement has been remarkable. Erick is more than a coach, he’s a mentor. His ability to develop both technical skills and real confidence sets him apart. My son's ball control, positioning, and game awareness are on another level, and most importantly, he believes in himself now. Couldn’t recommend Erick more - Tino Cavasinni

Confidence and Care in Every Session
My son loves training with MEKA. He has developed so much and improved in leaps and bounds. Each session is fantastic, and the coaches treat every player with care while building their confidence.
I highly recommend it - Peter Mittiga

Professional, Positive Coaching
Erick played a key role in preparing my two sons for the transition from community football into NPL youth football. Over two seasons, he created a unique coaching environment built on passion, care, and a genuine love for the game.
He has a strong ability to teach game-realistic drills and football intelligence, while also showing how the lessons of football apply to life. Erick helped my sons build confidence, express themselves, and strive to be the best they can be on and off the field - John Pierobon
